Chair of Takwimu LAB.Community

Co-founded Takwimu LAB, a community for AI and Data Science learners in Francophone Africa, building hands-on programs from online learning paths. Led research on low-resource African languages, collecting, labeling, and publishing parallel text datasets for Neural Machine Translation (French-Fongbé, French-Ewe). Built a prototype English-Fongbé Neural ML Translation app through the AI4D-Africa Network with UNESCO support.

Recognition includes the Zindi Africa Award for the AI4D-African Dataset Challenge (2020). Co-organized a machine translation challenge on Zindi Africa, supporting local data science talent. Published findings via the AI4D African Language Program, presented at the AfricaNLP Workshop during EACL 2021.
